No one was hurt in a fire Monday night, Feb. 26 at a home near 47th and North. It happened in a two-story, wood-framed home. No one was inside at the time.

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened on Milwaukee’s north side late Saturday night, Feb. 24. Officials say they were called to the scene of the shooting near 41st and Hadley at around 11:50 p.m. Upon arrival, police found a 30-year-old man with a fatal gunshot wound.
Wausau police have identified the victim of a homicide and have arrested a man in another county as a result of their investigation. -seven-year-old Lyle Leith was found dead in his garage by his daughter on Tuesday. Police say an autopsy was done Wednesday, but results are pending.

A woman and two children were injured Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in the town of Dunn, Dane County officials said. A man died after he was struck by a car leaving a Downtown parking ramp on Monday night, Madison police reported. Police said in a news release that they were called to the 10 block of North Fairchild Street shortly after 10:45 p.m. on a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian. The 30-year-old driver of the vehicle called 911 to report that he had struck a pedestrian while exiting a parking garage in the block.
A man wanted in connection with Iron Co. homicide in Iron County, Wisconsin is now in police custody. The Oshkosh Police Department says officers took James B. Lussier into custody without incident in Oshkosh on Sunday at about 7:30 p.m.

An Appleton man was arrested Saturday, after police say he made a terror threat against a school. The SWAT team arrested a 23-year old man at his home. Police say the suspect sent an electronic message to the FBI office in Green Bay, threatening to "shoot up the school". The message did not specify which school.

According to police, a 20-year-old Milwaukee man was inside a vehicle when an unknown suspect fired shots into the car. The driver of the vehicle then drove to the area of 39th and Lancaster — where MPD responded. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

A Wisconsin man is facing charges after he allegedly smoked pot, became paranoid, then stabbed his mother, thinking she was there to rape him. 23-year-old Terrell Banks, of Racine, faces one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, domestic abuse assessments, and one count of mayhem, domestic abuse assessments. Mayhem in Wisconsin courts refers to when a suspect intends to disfigure an area of the head, according to WITI.
