Police say stabbing and shooting injuries of school resource officer and student not expected to be life-threatening

The incident was reported just after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Oshkosh West High School, about 85 miles north of Milwaukee. Investigators said the school is currently on lockdown.

Terry Schuster, the public relations director for the Waukesha School District, she hasn't heard of any injuries and did not know the condition of the school resource officer or the suspect, who is in custody. She said the school would issue a statement later.
Officials and Police say a 17-year-old student is in custody as police continue to investigate.
