Five injured after a north side shooting; police officer fired his weapon at suspect OIS Milwaukee
Three people are dead and six others were shot in two separate shootings overnight: The three deaths happened near 8th & Cherry, and a fourth person is in critical condition. - Five other people were shot near 37th & Meinecke

2 dead, 2 injured after shooting near 8th & Cherry. Police say a 36-year-old man and a 30-year-old man succumb to their injuries. A 19-year-old female and a 19-year-old male are in critical condition. MPD says three guns were recovered at the scene.
Said officers were responding to vandalism and they heard gunfire in the area. They found 4 gunshot victims in a home, a 5th showed up at a hospital. Officer exchanged gunfire with a suspect. Weapon recovered at scene.suspect fled. Unclear if Officer shot suspect
